Networking Event – 16/10/2025
We heard you loud and clear, you missed a networking event last year in Antwerp! That’s why we’re excited to bring it back for ESSO 44, and we’ve planned something truly special for you.
Join us for an unforgettable evening at Kooperativet Lindholmen.
The Kooperativet is a unique venue with a rich history. What once was a shipyard, has been transformed into a vibrant event space and a favourite lunch spot for both locals and tourists.
The Kooperativet is also locally well know for their street food market that takes place every Saturday.
What is included in your registration?
Food choices of at least 5 different food stands. Each stand has a different cuisine. Not a fan of Köttbullar (Swedish Meatballs)? No worries, the stands offer food from all over the world. There will be something for everyone.
Each delegate will receive a welcome drink and 2 coupons that you can spend on any drink at the bar (sodas, sparkling wine, beers, and wine). If you are out of coupons you can always pay at the bar with your card.

Not convinced yet? Keep reading! Besides cars and furniture, Sweden is well known for their music. Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest 7 times starting with ABBA in 1974.
Unfortunately, we were not able to book ABBA as they are too busy being holograms in London. But we are happy to present Sweden’s finest ABBA tribute act ‘Vision’ playing for you during our networking event.
They will perform ABBA’s greatest hits like Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Gimme Gimme or Dancing Queen just to name a few.
In short it will be the ideal evening to meet up with friends and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.

A ticket to the networking event costs € 85.
We do offer a discount for Young ESSO members*. Young ESSO members will pay € 65.
*Surgeons that are 40 years or younger or are within 15 years of graduation and are not in a leadership role.
